Privacy policy

Last updated 29 October 2026. This replaces the version from 27 June 2022.

The short version

This website does not track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads and loads nothing from other companies' servers. Just browsing it collects nothing about you.

If you took part in a STEMS round between 2020 and 2022, we received your artist name and email address. This page explains what we did with them and what you can ask us to do.

Who we are

STEMS is a project of 320colab, an experimental collective in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are responsible for the data described here. Contact: stems@320colab.com.

What this website does not do

If you took part in a round

To enter a round you gave us your artist name and email address. We used them to:

The details were kept in the email and file-storage tools we used at the time (email and Google Drive). We never sold your data, never used it for advertising and never shared it with partners.

We will not use your track or your details in an art piece or any other new context without asking you first.

POAP badges

If you claimed a POAP badge for a round, that badge was issued by the POAP service to the wallet address you chose, on a public blockchain. We do not control that record and cannot delete it. See poap.xyz for how they handle data.

How long we keep it

We keep sign-up details for up to one year after the last round you took part in, and then delete them. Tracks published on SoundCloud stay there as part of the STEMS archive. Ask us if you want yours taken down.

Legal basis

We process your details because you asked to take part in the challenge (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We send updates only if you agreed to receive them (Art. 6(1)(a)), and you can withdraw that at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you. You can also ask us to limit or stop using it, or to send it to you in a portable format. Write to stems@320colab.com. It's free, and we answer within one month.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and block abuse, Cloudflare handles technical data such as your IP address in short-lived server logs. We have switched off our own request logging and never use these logs to identify or follow visitors. Cloudflare acts as our data processor.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, tell us first and we'll try to fix it. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
